A small South Dakota town and a distant development company join forces to overcome the resistance of Burke, owner of a roadside tourist trap which is a key land parcel blocking a new shopping mall. The conflict generates strains on his thirty-year marriage, as he locks horns with a young woman with an urgent need to succeed at her first executive assignment with the developers. Unproduced.
